He took a sip of the fresh coffee, then flashed his charming smile. "This will do, but there is something else I would like. After your shift, if you don't have any plans, can I take you out to dinner?"

This did not surprise Lena. Plenty of customers hit on the girls that worked these Vietnamese cafes, and she received her fair share of suitors. Normally, she would decline, but there was something about him that peaked her interest. "Um... I guess we can do that. I'm off in like two hours though."
