Breakfast with the family

Lauren shuffled out into the kitchen, tugging down at her sundress. She saw her sister and step brother eating at the table, and practically drooled as she smelled their bacon. That was one benefit of being home, her mother was an incredible cook. She hurriedly sat down, keeping her legs tight to make sure the short dress didn't ride up.

"Cute outfit Lauren." Vanessa said as Daryl snickered.

Lauren blushed as her mother set a plate in front of her. Lauren was visibly disappointed by the sight of oatmeal, not the three course breakfast everyone else was eating.

"No bacon for you." Her mother said, seemingly reading her mind. "You obviously don't need anymore fatty foods. Now hurry up and eat, you're going to be late!"

Glumly Lauren shoveled the tasteless sludge into her mouth, jealous of her sibling's food as they openly snickered at her immature outfit...
