Cassie’s Truth

Cassie was prepared for Mel’s turncoat approach when she entered her apartment for the third time as her soft features were hardened with an icy cold stare. Mel’s trust was waning in Cassie considering a friend was calling her a liar and she couldn’t blame her for it. Cassie wasn’t coming back with nothing though with zero proof but if anything she had a lot to even the scales. Lucy was the most pivotal part in this as she was also a friend of Mel’s and her words would back up Cassie. Cassie noticed John was missing and asked, “Is everything alright, Mel? Did you want to just talk between the two of us or did you want to include John as well?”

Mel was clearly still emotional over the whirlwind of events but spoke calmly, “Cassie…I really want to trust you…but I don’t know you and I don’t even know if you are even a part of Naked Ambition like you claim. What proof do you have?” Cassie got out her phone and showed her own Naked Ambition profile with a photo Charlie had taken of her in the red dress in his car. Mel noticed that ut looked legitimate but she might work for NA and made a fake profile. “How do I know this is real? I mean if you do work for Naked Ambition couldn’t you make a dummy account?”

Cassie was impressed by Mel’s intuition and was right to trust Mel in this. Cassie smiled and said, “Got an old shirt I can use? That should be able to answer the question if I’m really on Naked Ambition or not.” Mel’s face lit up as that was the perfect proof since if she wasn’t the shirt would just stay on her and if she was it would disappear. Mel took off and left the redhead in the living room to go to the bedroom. She quietly opened the door and saw John still sleeping. He must be exhausted with everything about Naked Ambition plus all of the traveling as well.

She got to the closet and reached for one of John’s old shirts before exiting out of the room. She quickly reentered the living room to see Cassie standing in the same position, looking elegant in her nudity. Cassie caught her staring and giggled while saying, “I don’t mind you staring, Mel. I can tell you the nudity is easier to deal with when you are around someone just as naked. So I appreciate that you are being thorough with this.” She took the shirt from Mel, who was wanting very closely to make sure Cassie didn’t do something to make it disappear. Cassie put the arms through and pulled her head through as the shirt hugged her form. It stayed on for just a second before it disappeared revealing her naked body once again.

Cassie jumped a bit and said, “I can never get used to that feeling. It’s been a while since I have had the clothes stripped off me. Let’s have a seat and I can tell you everything, Mel. Everything about me, Charlie and Naked Ambition.” Cassie tapped the couch as Mel joined her and was attentively listening to the naked redhead talk about everything that has happened so far. Cassie knew Mel needed to trust why she was doing all of this before she could show her the proof. She was also holding out hope for Lucy to back her up. Cassie needed those two and even John to save Sophie since Cassie felt that Sophie could have been her in a different life had she not run away when she did.
