The Boss Battle

The next morning we finally reached the boss door. We saw Roxane and Hammond already there with others from the other parties. Roxane rushes to me.

"I'm so glad you're safe!" She said while hugging me tightly. I hugged her back. Eleanor gave me a knowing smile from behind her.

"We better get ready." She whispered into my ear before leaving. I nodded and turned back to Roxane. We checked our supplies and weapons one last time before entering the boss room. The boss was a giant rat with six eyes and eight legs. It screeched when it saw us and charged at us.

The fight was long and difficult. Many of us got injured but in the end we managed to defeat the boss. Everyone celebrated while I ran towards Roxane and gave her a big hug. She laughed and returned it.

"I missed you so much." She said happily.

"Me too." I replied. We stood there for a few seconds before rejoining the others.

Everyone congratulated each other and shared their experiences. Afterwards we decided to rest for the day and exit the dungeon tomorrow.

That Night I was sitting alone near the edge of the camp when someone hugged me from behind. I recognized Eleanor's scent immediately. She pressed herself against my back and rested her head on my shoulder. I turned around to face her. She smiled at me and took my hand.

"Follow me." She whispered before leading me away from the camp.

Eleanor led me to a private space near a small lake. The moonlight reflected on the surface creating a serene atmosphere. Eleanor sat down on a large rock and motioned for me to join her.

"There's something I've been wanting to talk to you about." She said seriously.

I gave her a curious look. "What is it?" I asked.

"About last night." She answered.

I raised an eyebrow. "What about it?" I asked.

Eleanor blushed and avoided eye contact. "I'm sorry for taking advantage of you." She confessed. "I am not usually like that....umm.."

"Like what ? " I asked jokingly.

"Like some sex freak." She muttered embarrassed.

I chuckled at her response. "Don't worry about it." I said with a grin. "It was fun."

Eleanor stared at me wide-eyed. "Fun ?" She repeated.

I nodded my head. "Of course, it was fun." I confirmed.

"You know you're really weird." She commented with a shake of her head.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Guess So. I mean I did get to spend some intimate moments with such a beautiful woman."

Eleanor gave me a playful push and smiled. "Anyways I hope we can still be friends." She said sincerely.

"Of course we can be." I replied with a warm smile.

Eleanor sighed in relief and relaxed. We talked for hours before going back to our tents.
