Roommates: Are they friends, enemies, or frenemies?

The maids let the contestants to their rooms for their stay here. Everyone was quiet as they approached their new rooms. Some were mulling over the rules to see how they could win, while others were still trying to wrap their heads around how this was even possible. All the contestants’ rooms were near one another, so they weren’t far from their potential allies or enemies. Each of their rooms was labeled with their names on them. The first room had the names Kimberly and Gina on them.

Before they entered their rooms, one of the androids spoke up.

“Our host, Ann, has neglected to inform you that your rooms are soundproofed, so anything you get up to in your rooms won’t be heard by the other contestants. The showers are also down the hall. Please enjoy your stay here.”

The androids walked away as everyone entered their respective rooms. They all realized quickly that there weren’t any locks on the door.

Gina sat on her bed as she thought about everything that happened and how she was trapped there. She frowned knowing that the almost perfect life she set up was going to be destroyed. It took a lot of work and manipulation to get everything to how it was. However, this show was also an opportunity to get the last thing she wanted out of life. Her own harem. Her husband would never allow such a thing, but with a wish, she could make that reality possible. Honestly, she could steal Max’s harem. All the women here are attractive, and getting a man wrapped around her finger is what she did best. The only downside is that Max may have negative feelings about her abandoning him. He’ll get over it, especially if she cries a little and begs for his forgiveness.

Kimberly was also mulling over everything that was told to her on her bed. If everything was to be believed, then she wanted to be a winner. She doesn’t think she needs a wish to get what she wants which is out of the relationship with her husband. If they are supposed to be bound to him when they win, then she doubted that be able to go back to being the wife of another man. It was exactly what she needed to break out of the relationship. She could get that if she lost too, but she’d rather keep her freedom and not become a ****.

Kimberly glanced over at Gina lying down in her bed and had to **** herself to keep her composure. The host, Ann, must’ve paired the two of them together because of what she knew about her. The reason that she’d always tried to punish Max was because at one point she was in love with his father. They met at work and quickly hit it off. Max’s father made it clear that he wasn’t looking for a serious relationship, but she couldn’t accept that and thought that she could convince him otherwise. She failed, but she learned the reason was because the woman he fell in love with left him since he wanted to keep their child. It broke his heart, and she couldn’t help him move on.

She knew logically that Max was completely innocent in this scenario, but she couldn’t help but see the man she fell in love with every time she saw his face. It certainly didn’t help that she went home to an awful partner too. She was angry and bitter, so she took it out on Max. Now, she was sharing a room with the same woman who broke his heart and unintentionally made her love life as horrible as it was. Kimberly knew that she had a better chance of focusing on herself and gaining enough points to win, but another part of herself longed for the **** that she could inflict on her. She was dangerous. If she was willing to constantly cheat on her husband, then she would clearly do whatever she needed to win this game.

Kimberly shook her head. She needed some way to relax, and staying with the woman who’d done so much to hurt her, albeit unintentionally, wasn’t helping. The maid mentioned that the showers were at the other end of the hallway. She might as well indulge for the time being. Kimberly got up and left the room without a word.

Gina looked up in curiosity about where she was going before deciding that it didn’t matter, yet.

Lisa entered her room with her new roommate, Brianna. She was glad she got Brianna over some of the other contestants like Jessica. Even exhausted, her mind was working hard to figure out the best path forward. She knew that this was her one chance to be free of the debt she had, and she was going to do whatever it took to succeed. Brianna seemed nice enough; more importantly, she didn't need to be number one like she did. She also saw something that made her more important than the other contestants.

“Hey Brianna, I know you know what my name is from the door, but it’s Lisa.”

“Hey Lisa, I’m not the only one who thinks this whole thing is crazy, right?”

“I think it's crazy, but for me, it's an opportunity to save my life. My mom gambled everything we had and more. She left me with her massive debt, and I’ve been struggling to pay it off. I need to win to get out of it.”

“Why are you telling me this? We hardly know each other.”

“I was already **** to tell everyone when I was summoned. Also, I want to propose that we team up with each other.”

“Team up? Do they even allow team-ups?”

“The host never said we couldn’t, so I believe we can. More likely, it won’t happen since everyone wants to win and look out for themselves. Why share information and points with someone you want to beat? No, you’re more likely to sabotage them.”

“Why me?”

Lisa smirked, “Because I saw that you actually like Max.”

Brianna looked embarrassed, “Is it really that obvious?”

“A little. You kind of wear your heart a little too much on your sleeve.”

Brianna blushed as Lisa laughed a little.

“I don't understand how that makes me a valuable teammate.”

“No man can resist a beautiful woman who loves him. I have a feeling that you’ll pull ahead of the other contestants, including myself, so you'll be able to help me out when you get the lead. Also, you're my roommate, which means that you’d have the easiest time stabbing me in the back if we were enemies.”

“You sure are buttering me up.”

Lisa shrugs, “I call it like I see it. A working relationship should be based on honesty. Of course, as your partner, I’ll help you in any way I can.”

“I’ll agree, but only if you agree to be my friend and not just my teammate.”

Lisa smiled and held out her hand, “Easily done.”

Brianna shook her hand and matched her smile.

Nicole entered her room with her roommate Jessica. She didn’t know what to think right now other than the fact that she was chosen to compete in a game for her freedom. She didn’t have much of an opinion of Max since like them he seemed to have been brought here against his will, but it did bother her that she would have to seduce him to win. The wish, while enticing wasn’t enough for her to stress over obtaining it. She could use it to help her friend, but she didn’t trust this show and wasn’t **** enough to hope that what they were saying was true. However, some people could do with a little more stress. Nicole glanced over at Jessica who had already hopped into bed and was seemingly about to fall asleep.

“Aren’t you the least bit concerned about this show, Jessica?”

Jessica didn’t bother to open her eyes as she replied, “No, it’s just a formality.”

“A formality, huh? What makes you think that?”

“Everything in this world belongs to me already. The wish that’s being given out is simply one of those things that will be mine.”

“Then why don’t you get it now?”

Jessica sighed, “Why put in the effort when the prize will make its way to me?”

Nicole sighed, “You’re hopeless.”

Jessica remained silent.

Nicole laid down in her bed wondering what she was going to do. She hoped that everyone could work together to win, but she didn’t know what motivated half of the contestants to compete in this show. Jessica was out for a potential ally since she’d probably stand by and watch as someone drowned. Serena seemed more like a wild card, but she could potentially be convinced to play ball. Crystal seemed like the most normal person here not including herself, so she thinks that Crystal would also accept being an ally. She’d bring it up tomorrow and hoped that everyone could put aside their differences and work together.

For now, Nicole wanted to take a nice long shower to relax for the day ahead tomorrow.

“This is awful,” said Crystal as she laid down in her bed.

“I know, isn’t it exciting,” responded Serena with excitement as she paced around the room.

“That’s not the word I would be using.”

“I think you’re thinking too hard about it. There’s no use worrying about something that’s already happened. We’ve been kidnapped and turned into toys for people’s amusement. I’m not denying that, but we have a chance to have some fun and work toward our freedom. Sitting here in a room sulking about it isn’t going to change anything.”

“I don’t understand why I had to be the one chosen. He probably heard of me because of my job, but there are hundreds of other people in the field that could’ve been chosen over me.”

“Hey Crystal, I hate to say it, but as the host said, life isn’t fair. There’s no point mulling over what could have been. Also, if you really think about it, do you wish someone else was locked up here in your place with their rights stripped away from them.”

Crystal grimaced but agreed with the statement. She didn’t wish this on anyone.

“What are you going to do?”

“I’m going to do what I have been doing my whole life. Take risks and take everything that comes my way in stride. I wouldn’t mind a helping hand though, if you're up for it.”

“You’re seriously asking for my help when you had to give me a pep talk. Why would you want a weak person like me on your side?”

“Having feelings isn’t weak, Crystal.”

“Thanks.”

“You’re welcome, now on to more important matters,” said Serena in a serious tone.

“More important matters?” asked Crystal as she stared back at Serena in confusion and concern.

“Are you going to join me in the shower?”

“I’m going to sleep.”

Serena laughed as she made her way out of the room.

Kimberly opened the doors to the showers once again noticing that there was no lock on the door. She signed but hoped that nobody would enter while she was inside. The showers looked beautiful like everything she’s seen so far on the island, but it was also open. Anyone who came inside would be able to instantly see her. It didn’t help that the opposite wall was a huge mirror. Thankfully, the shower was fully stocked with a bunch of white towels, washcloths, and soap to use.

There was no use thinking about anything else. She came to relax, and worrying about this stuff was doing the exact opposite of that. She quickly stripped out of her clothes and turned on the hot water. Kimberly let the hot water rush over her, and she could feel herself relaxing under the heat. It wasn’t long until she was smiling as she washed her body. It didn’t last long as she heard the door open, and another woman entered the showers. She glanced over to see it was Nicole who had entered.

Nicole sighed, “I didn’t think this would happen, but I should’ve expected it. There was no way they were going to let us shower in peace.”

Kimberly didn’t have a chance to respond as the door opened again, and Serena entered inside.

“Oh, I guess I’m late to the party.”

“Don’t worry, I was just leaving,” replied Nicole as she made her way to the door.

Serena responded, “Why though, we’re all women here?” as she started stripping out of her clothes.

Nicole stood there in shock as Serena stripped right in front of her and revealed her naked body to her. Nicole took in her slim, toned figure and rough dark skin as she scanned her body. She could make out a bunch of scars littered across her body that told a story all on its own as her eyes continued to wander down toward her pussy.

“Like what you see?” asked Serena as she smiled at Nicole.

Nicole stared into her blue eyes, which had nothing but amusement as she was rendered speechless. Nicole couldn’t say anything as she fled the room while trying not to embarrass herself further.

“You certainly didn’t waste any time teasing her,” said Kimberly as she continued to wash her body with her eyes closed to try to keep the semblance of peace she had before.

“It was all done in good fun. Also, I want to take a shower, and I’m not letting a sense of shame stop me from doing that. Isn’t that why you’re here too?”

Kimberly smiled wryly, “I’m that easy to read.”

“No, I just feel the same way,” replied Serena softly as she turned on her showerhead and let the hot water fall onto her as well.

No other words were said as a comfortable silence descended between them. They had their moment of peace.
