Flight

Lauren boarded the plane and made her way to her seat, she was thankful that with random allocated seating she would likely be away from her family and they wouldn't see how scared she gets when flying, she always kept that fear well hidden or well she thought she had.

As she got to her seat, she was devastated, there in her spot by the window was her trashy cousin Jade, Lauren noticed Jade's bare feet propped up on the back of the seat in front of her. Suppressing a grimace, Lauren begrudgingly greeted her cousin 'hey Jade, that's my seat", to her surprise, Jade let her by the window and took the seat next to Lauren, Jade had laid her stuff out on the drop down table, Lauren noticed a very small box of pills with no label, when Lauren asked what they were, Jade told her to keep her voice down and whispered that she was terrified of flying and they was a massive help.

Lauren couldn't resist and admitted she was too, in an unexpected act of kindness, Jade offered Lauren some of the pills to help calm her nerves. Despite some small hesitation, Lauren accepted the pills gratefully.
