The Real Boss
Betty entered Aaron's office, looking perturbed. She'd marked up his last letter, and the paper was bleeding red. She sat down, crossing her legs. God, Aaron thought, those chocolate thighs look so good ...
"Poor punctuation. Misspellings. Errors in math. We're a forensic accounting firm, not a kindergarten class. Our clients do not look kindly upon errors like this," Betty said crossly.
"I-I-I gave it to you to fix those mistakes," Aaron said, suddenly on the defensive.
"So you never learn how to do it yourself? I think not, Aaron," she said, looking at the effeminate white boy dismissively. "I've identified your errors, at great length. You can correct them. And remember ... if you want to be the boss one day, you'll have to be far more competent than this. And ... you'll have to learn to recognize and obey authority when you see it."
