Hubby Moves In

You had expected your husband’s arrival to be an exciting affair, but truly it was as dull as any other day. No fan fare, no parties, no grand expressions of love or relief at having been reunited. He simply arrived and went about orientating himself with his new country of residence.

Months passed and you found your husband was taking on the role of a roommate instead of a lover. After your first sexual debacle he showed no interest of repeating the events of your wedding night. Even at your curiosity at his lack of motivation he never took a position of desire over you and you never bothered to initiate further than asking if he was not in the mood. You chalked it up to nerves, but as days turned to weeks and months, as questions of how he was settling in turned to questions of when you would be having your first child, you grew more concerned with his stubborn lack of interest.

“Are you sure you’re ok?” You asked again for what felt like the millionth time in months.

“Yes everything is fine. Why?”

“No nothing. Just checking.”

You knew things were not really fine, but with your new freedom, a husband who wasn’t demanding, and pocket money to spend, you weren’t eager to ruin a good thing. Your husband treated you well and gave you freedom to live as you wanted. You didn’t see the need to strain the relationship you were building without just cause. Besides you were only 18. You had years before you were **** to bear children and raise a family.

Still your husband’s behaviour perplexed you. Not a single move in the months you had been living together? You weren’t bad looking, you had thought most men would have jumped at the chance to bed you. Increasingly your husband had backed away from you, resorting to spending more and more time on his laptop. You saw he his looks of desire, but still he never made and grab at you. Was he hiding something or was it all in your head? Maybe his laptop held the answers?
