A dimly lit bedroom

I awoke slowly, clawing my way groggily back to consciousness. My head ached, and the room lurched queasily around me when I tried to sit up.

"What the hell?" I groaned, my voice scratchy and hoarse.

I didn't drink much these days, but I knew a hangover when I had one. It didn't make any sense, I'd been in my office just a moment ago, then here in this dark room, feeling like crap.

I stumbled from the unmade bed to open the blinds, hoping some light would help me get my bearings. As dazzling sunshine streamed into the room, I realized two things. One, I was totally naked and two, I looked better than I had in years.
