What's next?
Plans and an apology
Dinner had been the usual affair. Vel had mostly spent his time talking to Ella and Adi but had also utilized the opportunity to use fracture on Lynn and reinforce his suggestions. He had felt like that had done the trick, his powers had told him those suggestions had fully sunk in now. No need to reinforce those two again, then. Which was why he was currently sitting at his desk thinking about what to suggest next. She felt terrible, wanted his forgiveness, and was willing to go to great lengths to get it. Where did he go from here? What was his goal with these suggestions? He would have asked Adi for advice, but she had her mouth full at the moment. Glugh, glugh, glugh. He wanted Lynn, wanted to fuck her, that was for sure. Glugh, glugh, glugh. His best bet for getting there was probably to keep building on her guilt and her desire to earn his forgiveness. Glugh, glugh, glugh.
He decided he needed Adi’s advice urgently enough to give her throat a little break. Grabbing a fistful of her hair, he pulled her off his dick. She immediately grabbed his manhood and started jerking it. “Damn bro, you didn’t clean yourself up very well after fucking Ella. I can still taste her on you.” That was hot, maybe they should- NO! He needed to stay focused, what was he going to ask her again? She was looking at him expectantly, her head being held up by his hand grabbing her hair, while she continued to jerk his dick. “Oh, right. I was thinking about what I should try to suggest to Lynn next, where do I want to try and go with this?” Adi adopted a thoughtful expression as she began adding slight twisting motions to her jerking him. “Hmmm, the end goal is to fuck her of course. Do you want to get there as fast as possible and don’t care how, or is there a specific way you want do it? Any fantasies you want to try and live out on her?” That was an excellent question, he was glad he asked her. “That’s a great question, thanks Adi. I’ll mull it over while you put you mouth back to work.” She happily did so. Glugh, glugh, glugh.
By the time he came down his twin’s throat, he had a better idea of what he wanted to do. Lynn sought forgiveness, and so she would need to face punishment. Adi, predictably, loved that idea and the two of them had a ton of fun coming up with potential suggestions to try. Adi also came up with some punishments he could put Lynn through when they got that far and even offered to let him test them on her first to see if they were fun. He didn’t think he’d take her up on that, but it did give him some ideas about fun new ways to use Adi.
Later, Vel sat reading on one of the estate’s balconies by lamplight. He’d hobbled here himself, cane in one hand a book in the other, seeking some fresh air and solitude. This was not something he did often, but the mood did strike now and again. He was fairly engrossed in the book, a historical piece about the Fomosorian Shattering, so he did not hear anyone coming up behind him until they cleared their throat to get his attention. He jumped in his seat, nearly dropping his book. Whoever it was started stammering out and apology, but Vel wasn’t angry. He turned around to say as much and the words died in his throat as he beheld, to his surprise, a very uncomfortable looking Chielynn.
This was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Even with his successful suggestions he’d not expected her to come seek him out yet. She apologized again. “It’s fine Lynn, not like you startled me on purpose. What do you want?” He hadn’t intended to sound so curt, it made Lynn wince, but he also didn’t feel bad about it. She had avoided talking to him for years, if she wanted to talk to him now all of a sudden she could get to the point. “I, uhm. Vel I-“ She was stammering, not looking at him. She had been speaking in an extremely quietly the whole time. She usually spoke pretty quietly he supposed, she was a soft spoken person. “What, Lynn?” She flinched again, but seemingly managed to collect herself a little. “I’m really sorry, Vel. Terribly sorry. For everything.” Wow, he had not expected this so quickly. Even knowing how guilty she felt and how she would now go to great lengths, he had thought this would take longer. “Just an apology isn’t going to cut it, Lynn.” At least she hadn’t tried to make any excuses or explain herself, that was a point in her favor. She nodded, looking sad and resigned. “I know, I know. I really am sorry though, and I hope you can give me… Give me a chance to prove it.” Vel made a show of considering it, then motioned to the empty chair opposite him. “Sit with me for a bit, will you?” Lynn looked surprised and a bit scared, but she did sit down.

Vel immediately reached out for her mind. She was nervous of course, and guilty, but there was a bit of hope there. Her ever-present fear was still there too. “What are you reading?” Lynn had clearly felt a need to break the silence after sitting down. “Oh, a historical treatise about wars in the far southwest.” He could basically see Lynn’s mind scrambling in real time to come up with something to reply to that, that was definitely not something she’d usually take an interest in. “That sounds, uh, interesting?” Her inflection went up at the end, like a question. “I certainly think it is, but I imagine it isn’t for everybody.” He cautiously, with only a little power behind it, used fracture. The cracks showed immediately. “Do you come out here often?” He was deciding on his first suggestion, but still had the presence of minds to answer. “Not really no, just sometimes when I crave fresh air and solitude.” Okay, she felt guilty and wanted his forgiveness and he wanted to punish her. I deserve to be punished for what I did to my brother. It sank right in, her mind accepting it readily. Nice. “I can understand that, I want to be alone sometimes too. Oh, did I disturb you, would you rather be alone?” Next he tried: I need to be punished before I can be forgiven. Again, it was accepted. “No, I wouldn’t have asked you to sit if I did, would I?” She actually gave a relieved little smile at that, the first one she had showed him since coming to find him here. If I deserve to and need to be punished for what I did to my brother, my brother should be the one to punish me. Accepted as well. He returned Lynn’s smile.
They kept the slightly awkward chat going for a bit longer. It was clear from her mind that Lynn felt good about spending some time with him, perhaps seeing it as the first step on the road to forgiveness. Vel eventually decided he’d had enough and that it was time for bed though. “I appreciate the apology, Lynn, but I hope you know it will take a lot more than that. I’m going to head to bed now, thanks for the chat.” She clearly had something else she wanted to say, and as he got up, she teared up a bit. “I really am sorry, Vel, really. I didn’t want to treat you like that, I really didn’t. It’s just that Father and Dina would always get so mad and Mother and Father would fight so much and-“ She was getting worked up, her negative emotions were climbing. She would be sobbing before too long. Vel decided to do his older sister a favor again, and perhaps blow her mind at the same time. He interrupted her. “You know, Lynn, if someone else starts a fight, it isn’t your fault. If Father is an asshole who treats our mother like crap, it isn’t your fault. Even if Father started a fight because you spent time with your brother, it isn’t your fault. It never was. Goodnight, Lynn.” She had felt a lot of relief and as expected she had been amazed by how well he understood her and her feelings. There had been gratitude too, and of course a lot of guilt again. She didn’t deserve him telling her exactly what she needed to hear. Vel walked off feeling like a master manipulator, leaving a crying Lynn all alone on the balcony.
