The person who offered help was Anna, the newest merchant in the monastery square.

"I could use some help, yeah," Jacque said.

Anna used her parasol to cover herself and Jacque as he packed up his wares. It was then her eyes fell upon another collar.

"Where'd you get a piece like that?" Anna asked.

"I don't know," said Jacque. "I just found them in a bag one day and thought I'd sell them as trinkets. Did you want one?"

"Let's get out of the rain first, then I'll try one on," Anna said.

The two of them managed to get inside the monastery...to a secluded, quiet part of the monastery. The perfect place for Jacque to run more...personal tests with the collars...
