Chapter 17

What does Ernest start with?
Big Plans, Bigger (Potential) Mistakes
"So," Ernest begins. "I've been thinking a bit about wishes to make, and I was planning to make them after school, but it might be best to make them now?"
"Like what?" Jess asks.
"Well, I had this idea for ending world hunger and a lack of clean water, as well as people dying of exposure and diseases, by just changing how the human body works to be magically okay?" Ernest starts. "It'd probably be something like, 'I w-word that humans never got sick and had no need for food or water and could survive at any temperature from -30° to 120° Fahrenheit'," he explained. "Does that sound good?"
"That's... really big. Like, really, really big. I don't even know if I could do that," Jessica starts. It's definitely an admirable idea, and she's slightly impressed that he thought of that over some other options.
"Yeah, but worst case it only works partially or something, right? Or is there a bad side effect from wishes that are too big?" he asks.
"Uh, not that I know of? But I don't know much about it." Jess pauses for a second, and then realizes something. "Wait! Hold on, you can't make that wish, the wishes are retroactive! If you do that..."
"Then it'd change all of human history, starting at the very beginning," Ernest realizes, with a look of dawning horror. "Fuck, thank goodness I didn't try and make that wish by myself."
"Maybe we stick to small wishes, then?" Jessica suggests. "For starters, can you fix what you did to Tiff? Or, wait, no, can you start by figuring out if you can get rid of the arousal thing?"
At the mentioning of changing Tiffany back, Ernest looks pained for a moment, but when Jessica suggests the other change, Ernest nods eagerly. "Yeah, uh, I can do that. Permission to wish for that? And I'm also going to wish for it to be the case from now on, so that we can test if it has to be retroactive or not?"
Jess hesitates. "Sure, okay, but say it with 'w-word' first so I can double check your wording, yeah?"
"Okay, so. 'I w-word that from now on, when granting a wish, Jess doesn't get aroused.' Does that sound good?"
"Uh, I guess that sounds good?" Jessica offers. "Try it."
As Ernest does, Jessica hears it as if it echoes. I wish that from now on, when granting a wish, Jess doesn't get aroused. But it's not like the previous wishes, it almost feels like it's being canceled out by her own magic. Along with that feeling, though, comes another wave of arousal, along with a sense of feedback. "Fuck!" she exclaims, feeling a wave of pure pleasure wash over her. She feels weak for a moment, and then, realizing the failure of the wish, she repeats the word, this time with much less pleasure. "It didn't work," she elaborates, when Ernest looked questioningly.
"Are you sure it just didn't only apply to future wishes?" Ernest asks.
"Pretty sure, it was like it sorta canceled itself out, or something. Fuck, that's annoying."
"Yeah," Ernest nods. It's a problem for him too, because the more that wishes are a pain for Jessica to grant, the less likely that she'll agree to them. "Uh, what if we made it so no one noticed when it happened? That'd help a bit, yeah?"
"I guess so..." Jess agrees, feeling annoyed, but also a bit thankful that Ernest is so willing to cooperate. "Something like, 'I wish that no one other than her or me would notice Jessica's reactions to granting a wish as particularly odd'?" she suggests.
"That sounds good," Ernest agrees. "Permission to make it?"
"Sure, hit me," Jessica says, putting up a facade of bravery, while also clenching her hands on the armrests of the chair. He says the words as planned, and once again, she feels the pleasure wash over her. This time, she doesn't try to stifle her reaction in the slightest, and as she cums, she her voice come out as a loud moan.
Around her, no one seems to notice, apart from the librarian, who shushes her. Certainly, none of them are acting like they would if a girl orgasmed in a library normally. Turning to look at Ernest again, she sees the tips of his ears are red, along with his cheeks.
"Should I, uh, maybe not exclude myself, either?" he asks, sounding rather awkward.
Her cheeks are almost as red, but Jessica shakes her head no. "I don't want you to forget what you're doing to me when you make a wish, plus, if something falls on me when that happens, I don't want no one to be able to notice." It might be embarrassing right now, but her hope is that if it keeps Ernest embarrassed too, he won't make wishes where other people can see her reaction. Even if they won't realize what's happening, it's still embarrassing for her, too.
"Okay," Ernest says, sounding slightly doubtful. "Now, uh... you want to try and fix the Master thing?" he asks, knowing perfectly well what she actually had mentioned.
"No, that's probably not fixable, just like the orgasms, and it's already unnoticeable. I can just avoid using your name or addressing you. What we need to focus on is fixing Tiffany from what you turned her into."
How does Ernest respond?
