The Week

Believe it or not, Jasmine actually kept her word. I spent most of my time focusing on Amy, and she didn't really bother me about other girls. There were a few interesting interactions during the week.

On Wednesday

The three of us were eating lunch together.

"So, Joseph, what do you do for fun" asked Amy.

"I'm a bit of a gamer. I especially love RPG's" I said, hoping I didn't sound too nerdy.

"Cool. I'm more of a bord game fan myself" she said. Oh, that's interesting.

"You know, maybe we could get together and play one sometime" I said. That's a perfectly normal thing to say, right. Well, this sent Amy into a blushing and stammering mess that ended with her leaving. I just sat there in confusion as Jasmine laughed.

"Wow, you are so going to accidentally subdue someone" she said.

On Thursday.

Jasmine was in the bathroom, leaving just me and Amy in class. I don't know why Jasmine was in the bathroom, considering she doesn't need to use the bathroom, but I digress. We were working on an assignment when Heather walked up.

"Hey useless, be useful and give me the answers" she snapped. Normally, I would. But being around Jasmine has really helped my self esteem. Meaning, it's gone from zero to five.

"No" I said. This made Heather flabbergasted.

"Excuse me" she snapped.

"You keep calling me useless, so clearly you don't think my work is worth anything. So good luck by yourself" I said. This made both Amy and Astrid laugh. What really caught me off guard was how Heather's cheeks turned red not from angry, but from blushing.

"Whatever" she said before sitting down. Call me crazy, but I could have sworn I caught her looking at me during class.

And on Friday

Me and Amy were walking out of the school. We both were blushing, and Jasmine was MIA. I honestly don't know where she was.

"Um, Joseph. I was ah, never mind" said Amy. Honestly, it was really cute. Ok, activate smoothness.

"Whatever it is, you can tell me" I said while totally not voice cracking. This made her giggle and look me in the eyes.

"Can I uh, have your number" she asked. I smiled at her.

"Of course" I said. So we exchanged numbers. And before we departed, she kissed me on the cheek. I think my brain stopped working after that.
