How serious will this turn out to be?
Another important event
(Model Name: Zazie Skymm)
In a small Cessna crossing the American border, Brynhild Freyadottir tried to sleep knowing she'd have a difficult time adjusting to her assignment. The Goddess had given her the mission personally and she refused to allow some American man to cause her to fail. The Goddess had told her they wouldn't have a great deal of time and what was already being done to counter them. She was aware of the Brotherhood and with the Goddess' blessing she'd already begun to put her plans into place. She knew getting the Champion trained was of utmost importance. With a sigh she finally gave up on sleeping. She glanced back at the two acolytes she'd brought along hoping they'd be able to help her mobilize the forces they'd be needing.
She couldn't help thinking back to her conversation with the Goddess. She knew the Goddess hadn't told her everything but knew she believed she was doing exactly as her Celestial mother wanted. She mulled over what the Goddess had told her about her own future and couldn't help wondering if this assignment wasn't Freya's attempt at helping her get onto the right path to meet it. She wasn't afraid of the battles ahead but knew this assignment would change her. She swore to Freya that she'd be open to everything that happened but having lived her entire life in training as a mortal Valkyrie had made her more closed off in many ways.
"We'll be landing shortly to take on fuel my Lady! We still have several hours before we arrive at our destination so this is the last chance to get out and stretch your legs!" Sif Weaver smiled over at her. Sif was her oldest friend and sparring partner. They'd only been separated during training as they went in different directions. While Brynhild had taken advanced ground combat Sif had chosen to take to the air. Sif could fly anything that could be flown while Brynhild could use any weapon made by mortal hands. Together they were nearly unstoppable. While Brynhild had ascended to full priestess, Sif had put off her own ascension to attend college courses. "I'll wake the others then, thank you Sif!" She smiled in return but couldn't help wondering if either of them would ever see the forests and fields of their homeland again.
