Locked in

"Oh, this is not good. This is not good!" Nat muttered to herself as her face became redder than her hair. If whoever stole her phone and clothes posted those pictures online, she could kiss her job goodbye! Biting her lip, Nat made a dash towards the front door, remembering that her car was unlocked.

However, just as she got to the doors to push them open, she bounced back and fell on her ass. The doors wouldn't budge!

"What the?" Nat asked as she got back up and looked through the glass to see a set of keys in the key hole.

Keys that she used to lock the library doors from the outside after her little games.

"I'm locked in." Nat gasped, desperately trying to open the doors to no avail. "I'm locked in!"

Nat let out a whine as she turned away from the door as she walked over to the front desk. "This is just great! I'm trapped here until eight in the morning, butt naked. If those pictures don't end up online, I'm still fired after someone finds me here tomorrow!"

Nat looked over at the computer... A ray of hope finally coming to her.

"That's it!" Nat said as she sat at one of the computers, logging in before pulling up her email. Entering her sister's email address, Nat began a lengthy message explaining her situation, asking for clothes, and a ride home. Thankfully, her sister was a private investigator, so she wouldn't get in trouble with the police when she reported the theft. "And sen-"

Suddenly, the power went out, turning off all the lights and the computers.

"NOOOOOOOO!" Nat screamed in horror as her one chance of getting out was lost. Looking up, she noticed the clock on the wall reading eight P.M., suddenly remembering that everything but the air conditioning and clocks were automatically shut off to save on the electric bill for the library.

"I gotta find a way out of here!" Nat whimpered as she got up from the chair and looked around.
