The Job Interview
Laura was not happy. Not only did she get fired from her last job for chronic tardiness, she was late for a job interview and lost that job. Her parents always told her "Laura, you're a very smart girl, but your absent-mindedness will be your undoing! You have to learn hot to focus and manage your time."
Laura was at home taking a warm bath and listening to podcasts when she realized she had another job interview and was running late.
After putting on her black coat and zipping it up all the way, she pulled on he shoes, grabbed her purse, and ran to the subway.
She arrived just in time.
"Mr. Walker will be with you in moment, please have a seat in the next room," said the receptionist.
Laura went into the next room, unzipped her coat, and sat down.

"I hope this goes well," she thought, "I can't move back in with my parents."
