Diane stares at the phone for some time, running through the possibilities in her mind. She is of course aware that even if she calls and follows through on her threat, her already tumultuous relationship with her daughter will be effectively ruined after sleeping with her boyfriend.

Of course you on the other hand know that there is effectively no risk of her hitting the call button, seeing as Tracy is a little too tied up at home to answer the call.
