Embarrassing but smooth run, so far

' 3. 2. 1. Go!'

Isabel bolts out of the water. She starts running like she never ran before towards the changing stall. It's as if all her energy is being channeled into running. She is running as if the world is ending. She's running as if her life depended on it, which to her it does.

She can feel the coolness of the water evaporating from her. being replaced by waves of heat emitted by the bright sun. She felt the hot sand against her feet, crunching as she ran, burning her as well. The breeze feels icy as it rushes past her exposed privates and the rest of her body. Goosebumps prickle on her skin as her wet hair flows wildly.

Panic surges through Isabel's mind. She's naked. Buck naked and streaking across a beach where people can see her. She can see out of the corner of her eyes that a few people are looking at her, shocked. This is a nightmare. Like her worst fears slowly coming true. Her heart is beating crazy, and her chest feels like someone is sitting on it. Some tears are leaking from her eyes. She just wants to crawl up into a ball and hide. Despite how she feels, Isabel wills herself to continue. She has to keep running until she reaches that changing stall so that she can receive help and mercy from Megan and that she can be hidden out of sight.

Using the fear and embarrassment to fuel her, Isabel runs even faster towards the changing stall, while hoping that running fast will blur her image to others. She doesn't look around to see who is looking at her or look back to see Megan's reaction. Her attention is solely on that changing stall, which gets closer and closer.
