Hang out in your dorm commons

You decide to go back to your dorm, but not to your actual room. Instead, you go to the common area in the ground floor basement where students are encouraged to mingle. The game tables range from foosball to air hockey to old fashioned table tennis and pool. Ratty couches are set up and the whole place smells just a little bit dry and musty. Off in the corner is a single big-screen tv with a remote that is not worth fighting over. You've already heard rumors of how, every once in a while, someone will bring their game console downstairs and an all-out bitchfest will ensue as campus Karens accuse them of hogging it.

Groups of kids are hanging out among the couches, but, as you look up, you see Megan talking with a guy who looks like another RA. He nods at something and then splits away from her, and she looks visibly bored for a second, then walks over to one of the high chairs surrounding an equally high table and gets onto her phone.

You could either socialize with the general group, getting to know some of the other people in your dorm, or you could talk to her.
