A Warm Place

Jack was naked, his lean frame positioned tight behind Elizabeth. She was half-asleep, keeping her frame against him. Jack was good. Xavier was good. And she knew Jack's child would be a great addition to the family. But she wanted more. She wanted Emily and Aaron and Katie back for good. But she didn't want to sever the bond they had with Mira, either. Perhaps Mira and Douglas could move into the guest house. Then her heart could be whole once more.
