For the next 30 minutes Ameko begins to explain the situation in full detail.

As you've learned before this reality is made to accommodate the wishes and desires of the Crowned, which is you. However each wish comes with a drawback, it doesn't scale with the wish and can be almost anything. That is what Ameko has been tasked to find out. By who? Well, she took out her phone and showed everyone a picture of that same moon symbol you first saw in the basement. They're simply called 'The Crescent Squad', a team of highly skilled individuals made up of only a handful of what was the "Moon Organization" from the old reality. Yes, the old reality.

Ameko explains that multiple realities exist but only one is the 'Prime' reality, the newest created by the Crowned. When a Prime reality is born of the wishes and desires of the Crowned the past realities begins to slowly deteriorate and the data there is reset into pure energy before it is 'reconstructed' into what is the new one. Apparently the Sun Corporation existed in the last reality as well, but as a secret organization. The Moon Organization was a branched organization created by the Sun Corporation for security and integrity within the inner workings of their circles.

Because the same data is used from the old realities the same people are born, the same events happen and the fundamentals of the reality is similar. However, the x factor are the wishes and desires of the Crowned that changes the reality.

This is when Amelia spoke up and asked, "How did you all find out about all of this? If things are resetted then no one should remember."

Ameko continue, explaining that there are people called "Bringers" which are people that inherit or bring memories from their past lives.

"Meaning that...." You say suddenly realizing something.

"Yes, Jun...." Ameko answers and smiles. "....they are essentially another x factor that can change the trajectory of your reality by implementing knowledge gained by their past lives. This gives them several lifetimes of experiences to pull from making them dangerous if they came after you."

You cover your mouth with a hand and gulp hard. "The last realities....Ameko, does this mean you....are a Bringer as well?"

She shakes her head. "Nope! I was simply recruited into the Crescent Squad due to my skills and relations to you. I don't remember a thing from the last reality."

You don't know if this is something good or not....it would be a relief if wasn't, but if she did have the memories from the old reality....then that means she is basically still your sister....like your original sister. The one you grew up with that took so much care of you, the one that worked so hard and....was in so much misery. It would be a bittersweet thing if she had her memories. The things you would've told her before your relationship and hers drifted apart. Just one more...."I love you" and "Thanks.

But that shouldn't make this iteration of her any less important. You love this Ameko too and her being happy is good.
