Message Sabrina about Emma

Things are getting complicated. Emma is out here trying to put the moves on you while Sabrina is in the ladies room sending you suggestive pics. You really need to clear the air with the two of them. As for now, you have an instinctive impulse to get some space before you get bogged down too deep.

You decide to kill two birds with one stone to buy yourself some time. You glance at Emma and tell her, “It’s just a message from work. We should be heading back! I’ll just let them know…”

Meanwhile, you text back to Sabrina.

YOU: Your sister just asked me out.

As soon as you put your phone away, Sabrina is storming back to the table. She looks ready to start something with Emma.

“We should head back before they start to miss us,” you tell her.

Sabrina pauses. She is stuck between confronting her sister and being a diligent employee. Her aggressive posture drops, and she nods. “Yeah, you’re right. Let’s go.”

Emma looks disappointed about the abrupt end to the lunch date but gives her thanks and you drive everyone back to the office. Sabrina and Emma split off from you as you return to your cubicle.

“Hey, John, were you just out with Sabrina and that other girl?” your fellow intern, Eddie asks, peeking over your cubicle wall.

“Oh yeah… Her sister is in town…” you explain vaguely without really explaining.

Eddies nods appreciatively, staring at the sisters that are out of your range of view. “Nice… you going to ask her out?”

“Eddie, don’t start…” you warn. Eddie is a frat boy, constantly needing to know who’s up whose ass, sniffing around. For the most part, it’s usually him.

Eddie backs off, hands in the air. “Alright, chill… I’m just checking the vibe is all! Honestly, I didn’t even know you were such a ladies man! Good on you, dude!”

Eddie has a point. Sabrina, Emma, Skylar, Chelsea, Oliva…You haven’t been around this many attractive and eligible ladies that are equally attracted to you before. It’s high time you started doing more than just waiting in the background for one of them to make the first move. You need to make a choice about who you want to pursue and follow through to make it happen!

“If you’re more into Sabrina, do you mind putting in a good word for me for her sister?” Eddie asks, still staring over at the sisters.

“Not now, Eddie!” you bark.

“Alright, Alright! Just putting it out there…” he replies, sidling back to his cubicle.

You don’t want to have to explain the arrangement you and Sabrina have. She just wants to have fun, nothing serious and no full on intercourse. You were fine with that when you started, but now you’re not so sure. A lot has changed since you two made that pact. Could Sabrina be having second thoughts about it as well?

You step out of your cubicle and look around. You can see Sabrina across the room and Emma heading for the elevator. You march over to intercept Sabrina.

“We should talk,” you tell her in a low voice.

“Can it wait until the end of the day?” she replies.

“Ooh.. lover’s quarrel,” Eddie teases.

“Eddie!” you both respond to him in unison.

“Sheesh, whatever,” he grumbles, rolling away on his office chair. “Say hi to your sister for me?”

Sabrina rolls her eyes and takes your arm, dragging you to the conference room. Inside is Gemma, a fellow intern, working on something on her laptop. She glances up at Sabrina and asks, “What’s up?”

“Can we borrow this room for a bit?” she asks.

“We have a meeting in half an hour, but you’re free to use it until then,” Gemma replies, packing up her things. “Let me know when you’re done!”

“Thanks…” Sabrina replies, closing and locking the door behind her. Her face becomes more serious when she turns to you. “Did you want to go out with my sister?” she asks, exuding an anxious energy as she awaits your answer.
