What happens next?
Skateboarding and Dahlia's surprise
The next three weeks went by fast, with Dahlia, Sherine, Laura, and I studying hard for the exams and passing them with flying colours. My goth clothes finally arrived and I was able to become a true goth girl. Everyone was stunned, but my Instagram followers loved it. I alternated between a more classy style and my goth attires depending of my mood, I loved the variety of styles I was able to wear now that I was Seo-Yun. I also started to jog regularly and do various exercises to make my body more fit.
During these weeks, Laura relaxed and fully accepted my and Dahlia's nature. I watched the animes that Sherine recommended to me and was able to talk about them in length, with her opening up to me more as well thanks to that. We even discussed about cosplays, making me wonder how I'd look in some of those.
Claire and I hung out together from time to time, doing shopping and playing games, but I encouraged her to become even more independent too, especially if I had to move around often for my modelling jobs.
I also had the displeasure to be more acquainted with my new family through a few phone calls. They were very annoying, very controlling, and I wanted to cut ties with them as soon as possible, a sentiment shared with the old me.
As for Dahlia, we often visited each other's homes to have some private moments together, exploring each other's bodies and trying different things. The week before my planned departure for London, though, she wasn't available, telling me that she was busy getting her surprise ready.
On Thursday, after college, I received a message from her asking me to join her somewhere during the evening.
Since I still had time to kill, I decided to hang out with Laura. I had asked her to teach me skateboarding, and we were sometimes practicing at the local skate park. I even bought a cheaper skateboard to start with. For that reason, today, I was simply wearing a tanktop, cargo pants, and a pair of sneakers, and had my hair tied into a ponytail. It wasn't something the old Seo-Yun wore often, but I looked really hot in that too.
We practiced for some time, Laura showing me how to keep my balance and how to turn. She even demonstrated some tricks, which I found very impressive. I didn't have the opportunity to try them when I wore her, but I would hopefully be able to replicate them soon by myself. Even if the old me didn't do much sports, she did have a good balance from the get go, I didn't have to try too hard to keep my feet on the board.
"You're a fast learner, it took me longer than that to start feeling comfortable on a board." Laura commented as I rode and stopped next to her.
I took a break and sat on the bench, next to her. "Thanks. I wanted to learn skateboarding for a while, I'm glad you've been willing to teach me."
"Well, we're friends, and you're Dahl's boyfriend... or girlfriend... I don't even know which."
I observed the sky, a shy smile on my face. "I think... girlfriend would be more fitting... After all this time as Seo-Yun, it's like... my identity as Edward has slowly been taking the backseat... I'm still Ed due to Claire, but I don't have any other ties to my original life. I'm Seo-Yun, and that won't change."
I chuckled, making Laura raise an eyebrow. "It's funny, one month ago, I was still a normal cis guy, but now I feel so much more at ease as a woman."
"You seem to have a lot of fun as one, at least." She commented. "Is it that interesting to be a woman?"
I smiled. "I believe so. Although part of it is most likely due to my new nature, too." I looked at her. "You never wondered how it was like to be a man?"
She lit up a cigarette and replied. "I have, yes. I always had fairly boyish hobbies, and some sexist shitheads didn't like that while I was growing up. It made me believe that things would have been easier had I been born a man. Although, I am comfortable as a woman now."
She stayed silent for a moment before speaking again. "I sometimes used to wonder how it would be like to be someone else... and even if your powers are pretty creepy, you and Dahl make it look fun..."
"Are you reconsidering what Dahlia said? I'm fairly certain she was only half-joking when she offered to turn you into a skinwalker."
She shook her head. "Nah, I like my life, I don't want to risk losing my family and friends. It just made me curious, that's all. Maybe in ten years I'll have a change of heart, who knows, but I'm fine for now."
"You're pretty lucky in that regard." I simply said. "Both my original family and my new one suck. Claire is the only exception, and she immediately accepted my new nature. Maybe that's why I adapted so fast, I had her and Dahlia to support me, and nothing that kept me from abandoning my original life."
"It most likely helped, yeah." She said. "Speaking of Dahl, got any news?"
"We're supposed to meet this evening. I don't know more."
"Alright. Well, I hope you'll both have fun in London."
I smiled at her. "We'll bring you some souvenirs."
We hung out a bit more to have me practice my skateboarding skills and I then went back home to change clothes. Dahlia asked me to wear a more proper attire before joining her. I admired myself in the mirror a bit longer, something I did pretty much every day, and smiled. I just loved looking at myself.
After making sure that everything was fine, I left to go to the place Dahlia mentioned. I discovered as I got closer that it was a hotel in the city center.
What is she planning?
When I entered the lobby, a tan woman who was sitting on a couch spotted me and approached me. She seemed to be in her twenties, and, if I had to guess, probably had Indian or Pakistani origins.
"Ah, Seo-Yun, I was waiting for you." She said with a smile. "Please follow me."
She winked at me, making me understand that she was most likely Dahlia. I followed her to the fourth floor and she opened a room with her keycard. We walked inside, with her putting the 'do not disturb' sign on the door and closing it behind her. As I entered the bedroom proper, I saw the deflated skin of a blonde woman lying on the bed.
"What's the meaning of this, Dahlia?" I asked as I turned to face her.
She grinned as she put a finger on my lips. "Ah, there's no Dahlia currently. My name is Ishani~"
"Why are you Ishani exactly? And why is there a skinned woman on the bed?"
Before answering, she pulled me closer for a kiss. It was strange to kiss her while she was wearing someone else, it almost felt like I was cheating on her even though I knew it was her underneath this skin. Still, the kiss, even if different, was enjoyable.
"I needed that, I really missed kissing you these last few days~" She giggled as we broke free from the kiss.
"As for your questions, it's my surprise of course~ We could simply buy two tickets and fly to London this way, but it's the normal, boring way to do it, wouldn't you agree?" She didn't let me say anything before continuing. "I thought we could travel the 'fun' way only available to us skinwalkers: By becoming flight attendants."
"Huh? You want us to play the role of flight attendants?"
She gave me a playful smile. "Indeed. Trust me, it's fun~ I did it quite a few times to travel around the world. Also, I admit that I really love wearing their uniforms~"
The idea did sound fun, hot, and pretty harmless, I had to admit. I did find flight attendants' uniforms sexy before, but I never imagined I would get the opportunity to wear one someday... I blushed thinking about it.
"So... these women, they're flight attendants?" I asked after regaining my composure.
"Yep. I spent the last three days at the airport wearing various people until I found them. They're working for the same company on the same flight. They landed earlier today and have a day of break tomorrow before flying back to London in two days. We can wear them, fly to London while playing their roles, and remove them once we're there."
She did seem very excited about doing this with me.
"Does it work even if we're already wearing someone?"
To answer my question, Dahlia pulled on her neck, revealing her usual face underneath.
"Yep~ Don't worry, you won't have to remove your new skin, you can keep being Seo-Yun and still wear another skin on top of it."
It was weird to see her pale freckled face on top of a tan body, but she quickly wore back Ishani's face.
I grabbed the deflated skin and observed the woman. She seemed a bit older than Ishani, maybe in her mid-thirties, and had a pale white skin. She was also fairly tall, about as tall as my original self.
"If you want, we can even trade, you can be a cute British-Indian woman and I can be a hot blonde one~ I could tower over you for once~" Dahlia said as she hugged me from behind.
Dahlia's idea was extremely tempting, but a small part of me felt like it wouldn't be right to use my abilities like this...
Should I agree with Dahlia's plan?
