You get it!

You tore the device from Joanna’s hands and scanned the screen. Luckily, she was already in the mental changes menu. You quickly navigated the menu, disabling anything that made you beholden to her or anyone else’s whims.

“Stop! Give me that!” Joanna screamed, but it was too late. She’d been too slow; her demonstration had backfired and you were free from her control.

You chuckled.

“Silly Joanna. Vhy should Svetlana do theez? Zhere eez so much for us to do.”

You examined the screen.

Out of the corner of your eye you noticed an option at the top of the screen that you hadn’t seen before:

“Target? I vhonder…”

Tapping the button brought up a text box. The current entry read “Svetlana Malishkova”. You selected the text, replacing it with “Joanna Price”.

It was around this moment that Joanna came back to her senses. She made to lunge for the device, but you noticed and quickly froze her.

“Now, now. Zhat is no way to behave!”

You looked over at her disapprovingly, the look of fear in her eyes filling you with intense satisfaction.

You looked down at the device and switched the target back to you.

It would be so simple to turn back into guy right now, but…is this really what I want?
