Leave them be

You decide not to tempt fate and just let the slimes be and not try and attack them. After making this decision you slowly turn around and quietly start to make your way back towards your camp. Not putting your sword away just in case there is something else out here that you have not noticed yet. Ten minutes later you arrive at your camp and climb back into your tent and go back to sleep.

Morning comes earlier than you wanted since you spent time in the middle of the night thinking you were going to be attacked. You get something to eat then begrudgingly start to pack up your campsite. Once you have everything packed up you grab your things and get back on your journey because if you make good time today you should be able to reach Froi by this evening you hope. If not you have one more night of camping out before you get to Froi tomorrow.

Midway through the day the sun starts beating down on you hard and where you are there are not many trees to shield you from the suns rays. You are sweating but you are trying your best to keep up you pace. Stopping only when you need a drink or when there is enough shade to shield you from the sun for at least a few minutes, then back on your way you go.
