Juan is pointed to the kitchen

“Can you please get the tools and the flash light? They’re in the kitchen in the rightmost drawer when you enter the room.” Oz said casually and Juan wanted to go grab it but he stopped before exiting through the door and turned around. He raised his brows as if to signal that he is onto something.

“But master Oz, why is Maria need?” he asked suspiciously as he saw that Maria was still standing there.

She was not on guard as she was rather tired and seemed to be oblivious to the situation. She thought Oz would show her more dirty clothes as he had said and forgot to be alert and suspicious.

“I still want her to inspect some of my clothes.” Oz said casually and pointed at a large basket near Juan.

He stepped forward and removed its lid. There were t-shirts, socks, a few boxer shorts, and other clothes in it. Oz winked at Juan after looking back up at him in a friendly way, signalling that there was enough work to do. Juan smiled back slightly nodding his head in an apologetic manner as he had not intended to show doubt.

Juan made his way to the kitchen and left the door open. Oz turned around to Maria and he pointed at the basket.

“There’s some more clothes in here.” He said and Maria, a little tired in her gait, made her way to check what needed washing.
