Yeah, she’s pissed

As the group moved out of the lounge area, Kim took the lead. She was mad, mad at herself for not checking before she submitted the email, mad about the situation she now found herself and her friends in, but mostly she was mad a Jack.

How could he violate her trust by going through her phone. Because of his reckless actions, he had put them all on the brink of financial ruin. On top of that, he had destroyed a perfectly good girl’s trip.

Meanwhile, Jack, who was at the back of the group, took in his surroundings. He noted that all the women were similarly dressed as he was. And that the men were wearing orange jumpsuits and had thicker bracelets on their wrists.

The first thing he decided he was going to do was go the one of the numerous shops on the ship and get himself a change of clothes. Then he would simply explain to whoever was in charge that there was a mistake. He was a man.

Finding their cabin, Kim unlocked the door and walked in, followed by the rest. Making her way directly to the room’s computer screen she started typing. While the other three sat down, each lost in their own thoughts.

Finding what she was looking for, Kim read out loud. “All participants are required to be properly attired for the activity they are currently participating in. All participants are required to be properly attired when not engaged in any activities, this is to facilitate the evacuation of this ship in the event of an emergency.”

She paused for a moment before continuing.

“All participants will engage in off study activities, according to their relationship status.”

“In order to maintain the health of participants, workouts will be required on a bi-daily basis.”

“Any violations of these or any directive regarding the study will result in immediate fines.”

When Kim finished she stood and stared directly at Jack, who visibly paled. “Any ideas you had about sitting on your ass in this cabin just went out the window.”

“Now, Jacki, let’s look at what you agreed to have done and participate in!”

Grabbing Jack by the wrist, she dragged him over to the computer and placed his bracelet against the scanner pad.
