First meal in the city

“God, I am so tired.” The woman exhales. Kylie and I sit beside her.

“Busy day?” Kylie asks.

“Yeah, worked overtime and I had to run everywhere.” The woman replies. She looks into Kylie’s eyes, struggling to assure her.

“You should relax. You had a busy day and you should be rewarded. I can help take it all away.” Kylie says, hypnotising the tired woman.

“What is your name?” I ask.

“Jane. Jane Basket.” Jane replies, fully entranced by the enchanting power of Kylie. Kylie takes Janes arm.

“Ready for a feast?” Kylie asks me.

“Ready when you are. She smells salty and delicious.” I reply. The salty scent is from Janes exhaustion.

Kylie grins and bites down on Jane’s soft arm. Jane groans as Kylie bites deep into her flesh. Blood extracts from the bite and Kylie feeds. Kylie holds onto the arm, feasting with delight.

Jane looks at me and offers her neck.
