You Accept Verlax's Offer. For Science!

You take the grenade-like object from his hands. "I knew you would make the right decision." He says. You think about what he said, did he really know you'd agree to do this? Maybe it's best to not look a gift horse in the mouth. He jokingly gives you a salute and says "The company expects greats things from you Mr. Future President!" On that note you decide to make your way to the Board room in the connected main building.

You stop short of the door and hear voices muttering, and particularly the angry voice of the Board spokesperson, Thomas. You see another scientist with a clipboard waiting outside the door. "So you decided to help Emery and me? Good choice. Don't worry about those geezers bickering in there, just open the door, click that button on the device, throw it in and hold the door shut. They'll moan like whores and then we'll be in charge." She says as she watches you with great interest. It's almost like she knows something entirely that you don't...You look at her, she's petite with glasses, wearing a lab coat. You don't believe you've seen many brunettes with ponytails. You glance her over, you feel compelled to say something, but what? She notices your stare and says, "Like what you see?" She smirks.

(Anna Dewitt, R&D 'Assistant')

"Uh, no. I just uh, don't think we've met, you work with Dr. Verlax?" You ask.
She laughs at you.

She replies, "I'm his 'assistant'. You can call me Anna. But that doesn't matter now." She winks. "Complete your task." Her tone becomes serious. You hear shouting from inside the board room, one voice stands out the loudest. The spokesperson, Thomas screams: "WHERE IS THAT GODDAMNED ADJUSTOR? LATE FOR HIS OWN FIRING, AND HE'S GOT SOMETHING ELSE COMING FOR WHAT HE DID TO MY FRIEND'S DAUGHTER. HE'S BEEN WORKING WITH THAT R&D HEAD, VERLAX! ALWAYS FUCKING UP TO NO GOOD!" You can start to hear more shuffling and muttering. Now is a good a time as any to finish your task.
