Ruby finds someone to test it on.

Ruby smiled mischievously before dashing into Beacon, eager to find someone to test it on. She didn’t want to use it on her team… yet. She wanted them to see her as the competent leader that she was, so this power would let her show them. Maybe she could turn people into a bunch of eager followers to spread gossip about how cool Ruby was and how much her team should respect her! Or maybe she could use someone’s skinsuit to sneak into a club, impress Yang, and then reveal herself! Or she could even-

“Ugh!” Ruby grunted as she crashed into another student. “Sorry! Sorry! I’m so sorry… C-Cinder!?” Ruby exclaimed as she realized who she just slammed into.

“Urgh… You’d do well to watch where you’re going, Ruby.” Cinder sneered as she dusted herself off. She had to hold herself back from snapping at these children and drawing any attention to herself.

Unfortunately for Cinder, she had already drawn Ruby’s attention. Cinder was perfect for her plan, any of them! Emerald seemed to love following her, so she had to be respected and she was just so intimidating too. People were bound to believe anything Cinder said. If she treated Ruby like an adult, Ruby must be an adult. And then there were Cinder’s looks. She was so mature she could pass for a twenty-something year old. More than that, she was tall, had dark hair, and wore red dresses. If Ruby wore her, it’d be just like getting to be an adult version of herself!... Which Ruby definitely already was mind you…

As Cinder picked herself up and began walking away from the scene, Ruby quickly stabbed her index finger into the back of Cinder's neck. Cinder let out a stunned gasp as her body went rigid for a moment and her eyes widened. Ruby, realizing what she had done, quickly pulled her finger out of Cinder's neck leaving a small gaping hole where she had stabbed it.

With Ruby's finger no longer stabbing into her Cinder quickly regained control of her body. Despite the odd, sharp pain in her neck, Cinder continued, knowing she couldn't just snap on a student without good reason. However, Cinder felt the strength drain from her limbs and her body suddenly crumpled forward causing her to grunt in pain as she made contact with the ground. Pushing her upper body up, Cinder turned her head to look at her legs. Her expression suddenly changed to one of horror as her legs now looked completely flat. Right before her eyes, her ass and waist had begun deflating as well.

Fear spread throughout her mind as she began to grasp her situation. Shocked by what she was seeing Cinder thought, "What!? No! What’s happening?"

Cinder tried to call upon her bits of the Maiden power to pour strength back into her body. However, to Cinder's growing horror no flames came out of her hands no matter how hard she willed for it. Then after a second Cinder's expression became one of fear again as her arm suddenly began deflating as well. Cinder fell face first onto the ground again as her supporting arm gave way.

From the floor Cinder could only glare intensely at the brat that had done this to her. As the last of Cinder's body was deflating her last thoughts of anger and fear were, "This can’t be! I was so close! I’m supposed to be the Maid-"

With those last thought Cinder's skinsuit laid flat and motionless on the hallway floor.

Despite the odd event, and the fact that Cinder may as well be dead, Ruby picked up the suit as if it was completely natural.

“There we go! Now I just need to decide what to do with her…” None of her plans were really set in stone yet. Heck, she could even toss the plans aside and just have with her powers. But, regardless of what she was going to do in the long term, she could only do two things with a skin.
