Abby blinks and shakes her head. It felt like she was suddenly waking up, but still bleary-eyed and slightly dazed. Had she dozed off for a moment? The stress of school and the weight of her impending future must already be getting to her.

But she couldn't put it off any longer. People were waiting on her answers. Her rent money was running out. It was choice time. This decision would affect the rest of her time at school and possibly beyond. She needs to make money, and for that, she needs a job.
