Before you can answer, Charlie sits down in front of you, letting out a big sigh. She's wearing her work clothes, and by the looks of it has already been out in some field or another. “Thanks. Man, I’m starving. What’re you havin’?”

“Ah,” Ethan hadn't even looked at the menu yet. Picking it up, he starts to browse it. “Still deciding…”

“Maggie,” Charlie signals over the older lady from before, waving her down.

The older lady shuffles over and starts to pour Charlie a coffee. “Afternoon, Charlie. Hard morning?”

“The worst. Hangover special?”

“You got it, sweetie. And you, Ethan?”

Ethan is momentarily taken off guard by being called by name, but remembers everybody in town knows who he is. Not to keep her waiting, Ethan decides quickly.
