Steal the horse and make for camp

I have no choice! Me’ allies are in peril!

Still half naked you sprint directly over to the stable. The slapping of your feet on cobbles alerts the stable boy who turns around to see you. You grab a shovel to use as an impromptu weapon if needed and you point it at the stable boy.

“I’m takin’ this horse. Sorry lad I’ve no choice.”

“Eeep just take it!” He says folding immediately. You swing yourself up onto the horse which whinnies. Now sitting in the saddle you tap your feet and whip the reins. The horse breaks into a gallop as you direct it down the road out of town. Passing through an arch the marks the entrance to the town, you shoot past two guards who seem to be unaware of your theft.

Having the horse gallop at full speed makes the journey significantly quicker as you arrive at the road near camp in just 25 minutes. The smell of smoke fills the air.
