Snap out of it, and move on

You shake yourself awake as you continue on away from the enticing sight before you. Darting quietly between the tents you pause and listen. A shiver rolls down your spine as you hear the worst case scenario. Two sets of footsteps approach your direction. In your current position you’d be cornered if they turned to walk down this alley. Looking around there is nothing to hide behind unless you’re ready and willing to enter a random tent. These tents are not as well made as the one you had initially broke out of, so you could likely just roll under the wall of a tent.
