The next morning

Daisy and I wake up. We have separate beds, for your information. I smile at her and she smiles back.

“Did you have a good night?” Daisy asked, waking herself up.

“Yeah, it was a fine sleep. The beds are so comfy and yesterday was hectic.” I reply.

“You want blood?” Daisy asks, holding out her wrist. She is tempting, but I’m supposed to check up on the girls from yesterday. They are going to help me prepare for class tomorrow.

A knock on the door. I get out of bed and answer it.

“Who is it?” I ask.

“Samuel Oaksbury. I’m a neighbour. Galicia is in trouble. EVERYONE is in trouble. Can I come in?” Samuel frantically says. I let him in and quickly close the door.

“Okay, you know the Royal Bloods, right? Yesterday, they had a squabble with the Lycan people and everyone thought it was fine. Suddenly an hour ago, the Royals attacked the administration and killed the teachers. They captured Galicia and is holding her hostage. They are wanting to turn everyone that isn’t human into slaves and humans into thralls. Galicia sent me to help you escape to get help. “Alex, I’m worried. You just came yesterday and there is a war already. You probably had an issue with the Bloods during your feeding so be cautious in the halls. Rescue the girls, bring them here. If the location is to change, go to the white rose bush behind the dragon statue near the fountain. There is a secret exit.” Daisy says.
