"Got myself another new blade," Kazuma grumbled the next day back in town as he hung out with Cremea. "A better make this time, so hopefully it doesn't break like the last two..."

"Well of course the blade broke against the dragon scales, it was not only a cheap one, you get what you pay for, but also, dragon scales are hard and strong," Cremea lectured. "You need a lot of blunt force to kill a dragon if you don't have anything that can pierce the scales... Sniff... Why did I have to do it?" Cremea sulked in a corner.

"I mean, we got a good bit of money, didn't we?" Kazuma shrugged. "And I'll tell you what... We can use the scales to make you some good armor..."

Cremea's ears pricked up at that. "I can't get the Dragon Knight class yet, but having a dragon scale hide and shield... I'll be like a dragon myself!" she grinned.

"...I guess?" Kazuma asked.

"By the way," Cremea said, getting up. "I do believe I promised you an additional reward for helping me with this, right?"

"Oh, right... What did you have in mind?" Kazuma asked.

She immediately walked up to him, and embraced him, planting a kiss on his lips. He stiffened, before relaxing, and returning it. However, it only lasted a few seconds, before she broke it. "There you go," she said, blushing.

He mentally pouted. He'd hoped for more, but hey, he still had time to seduce her.

"Man, still no easy quests on the board huh?" Kazuma asked, the whole party gathered at the guild. "Then again, we HAVE proven lucky at doing the hard stuff lately... Let's see if we can't find something we can use our unique... Talents for."

"There you are Kazuma!" a voice shouted from behind him.

'...oh no... Him again!?' Kazuma thought, turning around to find Kyouya walking into the guild hall.

"We need to talk," Kyouya said bluntly.
