A pissed off Dullahan.

As Kazuma finished reminiscing, Megumin sighed. "Still, I can't believe I haven't been able to lay so much as a scratch on that castle... It's a blow to my pride, that's for sure..."

"Yeah, whatever enchantments protect it sure are solid," Kazuma agreed.

Suddenly, a magically enhanced voice shouted, "Urgent Message! All adventurers, please gather your equipment, and come to the main gate!"

"The hell?" Kazuma asked, before seeing the clamoring of multiple citizens who were now terrified as word of one of the Devil King's generals had shown up to the town, and Kazuma paled. Crap they were in no way ready for that.

They quickly got to the main gate, and sure enough, there was an ominous figure there... A headless horse, along with a headless armored horseman, though he had his own head under his arm. Though the face was concealed in the shadows of the helmet.

"That's a Dullahan, the most powerful of the undead!" Darkness said, actually sounding nervous.

"You sound actually scared..." Kazuma noted to Darkness, a little surprised. "I thought a masochist like you would enjoy the prospect of fighting such a powerful opponent."

"Are you kidding? He might actually manage to kill me instantly and painlessly!" Darkness rebutted. "My defensive skills are good, but not that good! Who wants to die quickly like that!?"

"...most people?" Kazuma sweat dropped. "You know, the normal ones... I'd certainly prefer a quick **** to a long and drawn out one... Still, the hell does he want with a starter town?"

The Dullahan got off his horse and turned towards the town. At least he didn't seem to be making any aggressive moves at the moment, but Kazuma knew that could change at any moment. After a moment of staring at the townspeople through his disembodied head, the Dullahan finally spoke. "I come with a question..." he said in a measured tone at the moment, before suddenly beginning to shout, "WHAT FOOL IS FOREVER USING EXPLOSION MAGIC ON MY CASTLE!?"

'...that was HIS castle!?' Kazuma thought frantically, realizing now that he and Megumin had been provoking a really powerful monster. Not good.

"Listen well scum! I know this town is full of low level nobodies, so I left you be, but I see I only invited your arrogant attacks!" the undead general ranted, holding his head up above his neck. "Now the ringing in my ears never stops! I can't even eat in peace, or take a nap! Even servants of evil have their limits you know!"

Kazuma started thinking about what to do to appease this enemy before them. Normally, he'd let Megumin take the blame, seeing as this was her fault anyway, but he had plans for her, damn it! Should he try and talk the Dullahan down?
