Akira's First Fight!

Akira, slightly panicking, clumsily unsheathed his sword and held it tight in both hands. Feya popped her head out of his pocket and looked at Akira with worry in her eyes.

"What's happening?" She whispered.

"I don't know, I think we might be under attack"

Feya's eyes widened and she quickly ducked her head back down. Akira could feel a slight tremble in his pocket.

"GRAAWWW" a monstrous scream came from both sides of carriage.

The next thing that Akira could hear was the clashing of sword. He wasn't sure how many attackers there were so he decided to poke his head around the right side of the carriage. There was no mistaking what he saw. These were definitely orcs. Most were six to seven foot tall beasts. Grey tough looking skin. Wearing shoddily made leather armour. They wielded saber like swords, curved but serrated on the back sides. The two that Akira could see were fighting one of the guards as well as Ginny. Ginny was blocking every advance the orcs made to attack her. Metal clanged off of metal until eventually Ginny found and opening and sliced straight through the orcs leather armour and cut right into it's stomach. It dropped to the ground with a hefty thud. Just as Ginny had done this, the orc fighting the other guard, slammed its saber so hard into the guards shoulder, it dented the armour, dropping the guard to the floor. Ginny Shouted and quickly moved in, pushing her sword into the side of the second orc before quickly running off to the other side of the carriage.

Akira quickly pulled himself back and got a tighter grip on his sword. He was worried one of the orcs might see him, they were so big compared to Akira that he was almost certain he wouldn't stand a chance. But soon after that though, his worst fear came to pass. From the forest a single orc was making its way towards Akira, licking its teeth and snarling.

"Fresh meat" it spoke to Akira.

"Stay back" Akira said in fear to the orc.

The orc ignored what Akira said and continued his advance. When its got close enough, it began to charge towards him. Akira, in panic, shouted.

"STAY BACK"

Akira closed his eyes. He was holding his sword in the air hoping he could block whatever the orc tried to do, but nothing happened. Suddenly a sharp pain pierced Akira's head. A flood of memories began to fill his mind. Memories that weren't his own. Looking at these memories in his mind was like watching a tv show sped up to the max. Image after image flashed by. Wanting the pain to stop, Akira opened his eyes. Stood only a few feet away from him was the orc. It wasn't charging anymore though. In fact, it was stood completely still. It's arms were drooped at it's side. It's face unmoving and it's eyes, it's eyes were glowing blue. Akira was in shock, he wasn't sure what was going on or what he should do. Feya suddenly popped out of his pocket again.

"What the..." She exclaimed. "Ooooo...I think you've unlocked a power". She said.

"What...What power?" Akira said, still unable to move.

"Give me a second" Feya then closed her eyes and put her hands to her head. After a few seconds she opened her eyes again. "Command"

"Command?" Akira said, feeling extremely confused.

"Apparently, Command is an ability that allows you to "command" people or creatures. Once they are under your control, like this orc, you can say one single sentence and the person or creature has **** but to fulfil that command. Apparently it can't be used to cause physical harm or make someone fall in love with you and anybody you use it one, will be able to remember what has happened". Feya finished talking looking very pleased with herself.

"Uhh...So, what should I do about this orc?" Akira asked.

"I don't know, I guess you could kill it"

Akira thought for a moment about the choice he could make here. Was he really capable of taking a life? even if that thing tried to take his first. What else could he even do? He could try his new power and command it to leave. Or he could wait for Ginny to be done and see what she wants to do with it, but that would also reveal that Akira had powers. Akira thought hard about what he should do.
