let it come naturally

You considered planning something but the thought quickly left when you realised it would probably be best to let her wake up naturally on her own. Plus you were still feeling that tired morning feeling yourself as part of you just wanted to laze around for a little longer.

Now that she was semi-conscious she seemed to realise that she was pressed against something that wasn’t just the mattress and her hand gave a few quick pats on your chest as she tried to figure out what it was, still keeping her eyes closed as if she was refusing to full wake up.

The sight brought a smile to your face and you couldn’t help but try to suppress a laugh, air coming out of your nose and making the faintest sound but a sound nonetheless. In her already rousing state, that seemed to be enough for Grace to finally open her eyes to see what she was touching.

Just like you had, it took her a few seconds to realise her situation and when she finally saw how close she was to you, her hand stopped moving and she froze in place, her eyes widening slightly in panic.

“Morning, Emma’s just got in the shower to get ready” you greeted, giving Grace a chance to avoid talking about what she was doing.

“...Morning…” she replied cautiously, taking her head off of your shoulder and sitting up in the bed, her back now resting against the headboard.

That also gave you a chance to move as well but you didn’t try to get any closer, just moving your now freed arm while you had the chance.

“I have no idea why she woke up so early, I thought you’d be up first to be honest” you commented, finding Emma’s early wake up time to be more surprising than Grace being late.

Grace gave you a smile at that but you could tell her mind was elsewhere. You could have brute **** the conversation but you were happy to just wait and see if she would talk if you let her.

“...We didn’t… I didn’t do anything in my sleep did I?” Grace asked, the curiosity getting to her.

“Not that I know of. I woke up and you were holding my arm but that’s about it. I fell asleep pretty much straight away but Emma might know more if you wanna ask her” you replied, genuinely not knowing what had happened.

“No it’s fine. I’d rather not mention this to her” Grace replied, running her hands through her hair as if she was nervous.

“Well she’s already seen you this morning so there isn’t much to hide at this point” you admitted, seeing Grace’s hands stop at that reveal.

“Of course she did” she said with a sigh.

“You look pretty cute when you're asleep… that came out creepier than I expected” you replied, cringing at yourself when you heard how that sounded.

Luckily Grace seemed to take it well and the fact that you were embarrassing yourself in the process seemed to lighten her mood.

“No I’ll take the compliment. Nobody ever calls me cute” she said with a shy smile you rarely saw from her, making you give her a confused look when you saw she was being genuine.

“You? I bet you get compliments all the time” you responded, not believing her.

“Yeah. It sounds bad to admit it like that but I get complimented pretty frequently, it’s just that ‘cute’ isn’t one of the words people use” Grace said, her comment making slightly more sense but still making you feel like they were in the wrong.

“Well you are. And if you ever want someone to confirm that just ask me and I’ll tell you all the reasons why.” you replied, seeing Grace’s mood improve even more.

“Go on then” she urged, taking it more as a joke than a serious proposal.

“Alright. Well like I said, you look cute when you sleep. You tried to nuzzle into my arm at one point and that was pretty adorable. Sometimes you look at Emma like she's the best thing in the world and your whole expression sort of relaxes and your eyes light up. I agree with you by the way on that point. I only noticed this yesterday but you have these dimples on your hips that…” you started to explain, getting ready to list off as many things as you could think of.

“Okay okay, you can stop” Grace replied, the smile stuck on her face and the slight blush betraying her actual feelings.

You had done the same to Lucy a few days ago and she had the same reaction, giving you the reminder to try and compliment all your subjects more from now on. You were still riding high from an off comment Emma had given you years before so you knew the appeal of them.

“See I wasn’t lying. Ask and you shall receive” you added, making sure your point got across.

“I believe you… No wonder Emma’s okay with you flirting with other people if you can say stuff like that” Grace replied, pausing and then mumbling the later part to herself.

“Only people she approves of and you were definitely on that list” you responded, Grace not expecting you to have heard her.

The sound of the shower continued while there was a moment of silence between the two of you but you straightened up a little more so you were both at eye level side by side.

“I still can’t believe she’s okay with all this” Grace said, raising her hand to gesture at you both in the same bed.

“She’s more than okay with it but I get what you mean. I still feel like I’m gonna get in trouble sometimes. Like last night when I saw her from the bathroom door. I think she was more worried about getting caught than I was” you said with a smile, remembering Emma’s reaction.

“Please don’t make me remember too much of last night” Grace said with a groan, tilting her body towards you as she rested her head.

“I’ll try not to but I had a pretty great time” you joked, feeling that the mood was light enough to at least briefly talk about the evening prior.

“Of course you did. You were the one getting your dick sucked while your girlfriend watched.” Grace replied, shaking her head at the absurdity of what she had just said.

“I mean you didn’t seem to be hating it. Emma… was off in her own fantasies at that point but I don’t think she would regret it either. But your right, I’ll stop before I get too much into it. Just, the whole deal that me and Emma have isn’t going to be like that every time. I expect there will be a lot more usual couples stuff mixed in there if that’s something you would be looking for. I think that’s something my Mom has been missing out on for the past few years so I don’t plan on just leaving her on her own” you explained, the point of this trip coming back into the forefront of your mind.
