Check in with the girls.

As he reached the army, now in full flight, Midnight began looking around for the Seneschal. It took a minute to locate but there was a fully enclosed battle wagon that was the only one to be flying demonic battleflags. With a quick rush, he crossed the ground and crawled up through the floor solidifying inside.

As he did, the first thing he noticed was a hum of magical energy, which he quickly noticed was coming from the two guards aiming their glowing hands at him.

"Enough." With a wave of her hand, Halicarnassus waved them off before addressing him. "I trust your people are safe?"

He nodded. "They are waiting for me in my domain, along with the leaders of the army of light."

With a sparkle in her eyes, Runa looked at him. "Well then... I'd very much like to see that."

He offered a tired smile. "You are welcome to. When i enter my domain, i can only exit at the same point i entered so i wanted to make sure i wouldnt have to catch up after. But there are definitely things we need to discuss." With a fluid movement, he reached out and took her hand. "I believe you do owe me one after all." The look on her face was very amused at the concept.

"Oh? And what could you possibly want from a fragile little thing like me?" She pursed her lips coyly. With an internal smile, he cast Domain. "Im sure we can think of something."

With a burst of light, suddenly the two of them were standing in front of his mansion. With a start, Hali looked at him with wide eyes until he nodded. "We have alot to discuss and to be perfectly honest, i dont think your guards like me very much."

She offered a smile. "They dont." And walked up the steps. As they entered the mansion, Nagi swung down from the ceiling and did obeisance. Looking up, Midnight noticed the woman he gave the spider webbed to a high corner of the wall and nodded appreciatively. "I hope she amuses you. Where are the others." Rising quickly, Nagi scuttled off down the side hallway to a side chamber. As they entered, all of his girls were sitting on couches and stools chatting with the Dhaelia and Marshon and the succubus. With a start at his entrance, they all stared at him expectantly until Raquel spoke.

"Master! Im so glad to see you are safe." With a start she tried to stand up only to flop back on the couch. Midnight held up a tentacle.

"Raquel, dont push yourself. Its okay. Im glad to see you all as well." With a sudden start, the succubus stepped forward and took a knee.

"My lady. Im glad to see you again." With a nod, Hali turned to the succubus. "Lexa, always good to see you. I trust you learned some humility since we spoke last?" With a beet red face, Lexa refused to make eye contact.

"Wait, you know her?"

"Lexa here is one of my lieutenants. A hothead who thought she could lead an attack against the gates with a small company of goblins. I warned her about that arrogance."

With her head down, Lexa remained kneeling. Midnight looked at Marshon who stood with her hand on her sword.

"Where are the prisoners?"

Pointing to a door on the left, she answered. "Most of them are in there with Dana." Swinging to the other side, she pointed at another door. "The mage is in there. Dana told her that if she left that room, she would kill the others."

Damn. While he couldnt deny the effectiveness, Dana was being absolutely brutal in her job of protecting the others.

"Well then...Hali we should probably deal with that before things get too out of hand.
