Study time

You and Ellie enter your home together and sit down on the couch and pulling the coffee table closer so you can get a surface to do your work on. After a bit your mom heads into the kitchen and seeing Ellie here she asks for help with dinner which Ellie happily agrees to, any excuse to avoid notes.

You finish your studying quickly but Ellie hasn't returned or called you for dinner so you start to copy it down onto her notes. You take your time though as you are just copying the information over and Ellie would be able to do this as well. You turn on the TV now that you are not focusing for background noise. When you finish copying the notes and dinner still isn't ready you head into the kitchen and you only see your mom standing next to the counter but below the waist is an open cabinet blocking the view from the waist down.

When she see's you looking around she says "I sent Ellie up to my room she said she had a headache" That must have happened when you went to the restroom because you didn't see her leave the kitchen. She pushes up closer to the counter "Dinner is taking a while with Ellie not helping. It will be a few hours at least so you can go I'll call you when it is ready" You were a bit worried about Ellie but you hope she will be fine. Your mom gives you a smile and a wave as you leave.

With nothing to do you put your bag away and the copy of your notes into Ellie's bag. You notice there is a change of clothes her bag for some reason. You settle in the couch and watch TV until dinner.

You head into the kitchen when your mom shouts at you for dinner. When you walk into the room you see Ellie seated at the table next to your mom. How did she get downstairs you didn't see her at all. Ellie gives you a wink she must have been playing a prank on you and snuck past somehow.

Dinner was eaten quickly. When everyone finishes you say goodbye to Ellie then head upstairs to bed.

While laying in bed you think you hear your mom talking to someone but she is probably just on the phone. You fall asleep quickly because it was late and you just ate.
