Thanksgiving Break: Fire Pit--Leah acts cool

"I guess being pregnant can mean missing out on a lot of things huh?" Leah said with a smirk. Jonathan was throwing another log on the fire and his father was puffing on his cigar.

"Shit yeah..." Luke stared at the fire as he drank "a while..."

"Surely y'all can still....do...stuff?" Leah said in almost a whisper "Can't get her pregnant twice."

"I guess that is true." he chuckled "Eh its just hard when you are that far along you know. Not really quite the same...and she is busy eating all her heart desires--but not what I am desiring."

Leah's eyes widened subtlety. She didn't know why Luke was talking like this. Sure she had seen him staring at her before. Most men did. I guess Ashley had been enjoying her prego card to get out of any of her wifely duties.

"Yeah well I think that will get better once the baby is here."

"Lets hope." he said as he drained his beer. "You need another one?"

"I'm good thank you though." Leah said taking a sip of her beer. She had plenty left. There was a bit of an awkward pause before Luke turned to go inside and get another beer.

The rest of the evening went rather as expected. A few more drinks and more good story telling. They all finally headed off to bed.
