Duck, dip, dodge, and Dom

Your fangs click. You know you can't fight a dragon in a straight up fisticuffs, their stronger and have more abilities than you. You can't beat her at range either; she's got at least a breath weapon, if not magic. And you can't beat her at maneuverability; She's got wings and can fly.

But you do have two advantages; Venom, and speed.

You're faster... Meaning you need to make a decisive strike against her, poisoning her quickly. After that, it's a waiting game. The more she moves, the more the venom does it's job. You need one hit and to not get hit for however long it takes for your venom to work, and you've won.

Plan in motion... You charge.

No roar, no battle cry, no theatrics. You can't afford to waste breath or movement with an opponent like this.

The dragoness howls in fury, her black hair whipping around as she releases a fireball from her mouth at you, hoping to end this fight quickly.

You drop to all fours and roll out of the way, keeping your momentum going as you continue to bound towards your adversary, your mane rippling in the wind as your paws pound on the earth.

30 feet...

Another fireball. She's aiming for your legs this time. You jump as the explosion rocks the ground, using the burst of power to launch yourself into the air.

20 feet...

She roars out and lets out a wall of fire, cutting off any escape or advance on your left side. Doesn't matter, you're planning on going right either way.

10 feet...

She extends her wings, a wild look in her eyes as she glares you down. She's gonna take off so you can't get to her in the air... making this battle a one sided ****.

5 feet...

Not happening...

Your viper tail lashes out, just as she takes off from the ground. You're serpent's head latches to her ankle, and you can feel you inject her with your venom.

You've got a minute or less now to hold out... or this will get ugly fast.
