TTT Tuesday: Mrs. Clemens's Campaign

Leah was walking back from the mailroom to get her mail when she saw a large group of students walking toward the library. She figured she could proselytize her cause for Top Turkey Teacher while she had a group.

"So where are y'all going?" she said with a teacher smile.

"Hey Miss Williams!" a freckled face junior said before answering "Oh Mrs. Clemens is holding a party in the Library for our class."

"Oh really?" Leah asked as she considered Mrs. Clemens's intentions. Clearly--she was up to her own methods for persuading.

Leah considered redirecting the students to go elsewhere. That would decrease Mrs. Clemens's influence on the students as it took them time to get into the right place to hear the poison she would undoubtedly pour into their ears...She could crash the party and try to mitigate her rival's efforts that way...or she could let them go with a smile.
