“Zooming” to Zoom
Sprinting to the living room, Shauna frantically searched for her laptop.
“Come on, come on, where are you?”
Finding it in the closet, she looked at the clock. Only a minute and a half left. She turned it on which of course took that old thing forever.
“Hurry up, you stupid thing! You’re gonna cost me my job.”
It flashed on, and she typed “Zoom” like a woman possessed. Only ten seconds left. She adjusted her laptop, turning it to an angle that would only show her bare shoulders, and accepted the call.
“Good afternoon, gl-“ her boss turned his eyes to Shauna. “Miss Brooks, are you naked?”
“No sir, I’m wearing a strapless dress.”
