Go down the stairs

As you go down the stairs, the sunlight barely makes it into the grey stone hallway. The landing has a couple wooden benches and a pedestal in an otherwise bare room. Across from you are some other tunnels that are dark. Pater Franc points to the pedestal. "Put your hands on it, stand up straight, now lean forward" he says. You hear him rustling around in the room behind you.

He shuffles back over and places a thin piece of fabric over your head.

SMACK! "Fuck!" you shout when you feel the smack on your bare cheeks. "Foul mouthed sinner! The demon has taken you. You must repent, and you will start by paying respect to God for the punishment he sends for you! When you feel this pain, you shall count your blessings, for punishment is a blessing. Count them!" he preaches, before delivering another SMACK.
