She tries.

Ashley thought for a minute. "I'm not sure what you changed. Can you give me any hints?"

He smiled. "Don't you like the challenge?" As he spoke, he got off of his knees and sat across from her again.

"No. I find it frustrating and unpleasant." She paused. "Wait a minute - did you take my ability to lie?"

"How would you feel if I did?"

"Pissed off but a little turned on. Huh, I guess you did. How many other changes did you make?"

"I made at least two others. Here's another hint: What do you think of my blue tie? The one with the fleur-de-lis pattern?"

She frowned. "I think it's, um, hmmmm, erggh. It isn't very, uh, mm. I- Do I have to answer this?"

"Yes."

"It's.. I think it- I- I- I-" Her eyes went wide. "I- I- I- I- I- I-"

He cut her off. "Never mind, don't answer. You've probably figured out the next change."

"I can't insult you?"

He grinned. "You can't insult anyone. Sorry, just wanted to see how that worked with the truth thing. Seems like it kind of grinds your gears."

She scowled. "Yeah, that was a little mean. So I can't lie and I can't insult anyone. What's the last thing?"

"This is a fun one, but I should just give it to you. You'll never guess it. I've taken your ability to conceive of disobeying me."

She looked puzzled. "Conceive of what?"

"Go in the kitchen." She stood up and walked into the kitchen. Jamie followed her. "Why did you do that?"

She shrugged. "You asked me to."

"What if you didn't want to?"

She looked confused. "What do you mean? Of course I wanted to. You asked me to."

"Yeah, but what if you decided to stay in the living room?"

She was trying to make sense of this. "Decided to... Jamie, what the hell are you talking about? How would I 'decide' to stay in the living room? Obviously you changed something about me but I can't figure out what. Is this some kind of mind game you're playing with me?"

He smiled. "Jump up and down." She immediately started jumping. "How do you feel?"

"Not great." She replied. "I'm not really wearing an appropriate bra for this, and I'm getting a little dizzy."

"So why are you still jumping?"

Ashley was starting to lose her breath. "How am I supposed to stop? You told me to jump."

"Do you want me to tell you not to?"

"I don't know, you already told me to. This is just how it's gotta be I guess."

He told her to stop and she gratefully did, holding her sore breasts in her arms. "So now you've explained what you've done - except for that third thing, but I'm not sure I'm ever gonna understand that. What next?"
