His ex-girlfriend, Vanessa, was a sexy witch. Not even in style, but also in practice. She was specifically a Wiccan who followed the ideas of the Moon Goddess and the Horned God. However, she did have a love of outer space, showcased by her love of Star Trek. There were many trips to the planetarium or the new age shop or the Star Trek conventions with her. With her looks, she exemplified the idea of the big tittied goth girlfriend. Not only was she hot, she was bisexual, meaning she was attracted to both women and men. However, it was thanks to her, that James also realised he was bisexual or at the very least biromantic, however, he had a strong preference for women.

James and Vanessa was associated with each other by a mutual friend of theirs, Natasha. Natasha was Vanessa's best friend. If Vanessa was quiet, Natasha was loud. If Vanessa was feminine, Natasha was tomboyish. And if Vanessa had big breasts, Natasha had small tits.

James first had a crush on Natasha as she was the older sister/friend figure he needed. They met at violin rehearsals. She was in charge of the first violins, whilst he was in charge of the second violins. For them, being in charge of their section was what they bonded over. Natasha was friendly and outgoing, however she never saw James as date worthy. That hurt to know but he still liked their friendship so they still continued being friends. One day, she did invite him to her house and that is where he met Vanessa.

They got along, had a few friendly conversations, discovered they both had a crush on Natasha in the past and enjoyed each other's company. With time, the feelings he had for Natasha disappeared, seemingly replaced by Vanessa. Feeling head over heels, one day, James told Vanessa that he had some feelings for her that couldn't be described as friendship. Vanessa confessed the same. With those feeling out in the open, James asked her out and she accepted.

These were the feelings that were running through his head right now. She was the one who got away. But, no more. He would try to see if he could form any kind of connection with her again, even if it is not a relationship.

He imagined he was in front of her home.

James knocked on the door.

'Who is it,' Vanessa opened the door. She smiled.

'Ahh, good morning, James. How can I help?'
