Aiko was the definition of the perfect daughter. Straight A student, med school student, never got even a parking ticket and was "too busy" for a boyfriend. But being the good girl was weighting on her. There was a lot of things that she wondered as to what would have happened if she didn't always follow the rules and was studying instead of making friends.
So, the ad she saw on the web about the InLiCSim got her attention immediately. She took the risk and bought it on the website. One week later it was at her door.
Aiko took the helmet out of its box. It was heavy but looked quite simple. White, with a refined design.
"It looks more like a luxurious paperweight..." She said to herself.
The manual was as simple as the toy. She just had to put the helmet on her head, press a button on the side and go to sleep thinking of what past decision she wanted to see the outcome. So, when the time came, she did exactly that and thought about what would have happened if she gave some time at hobbies.
She fell asleep almost immediately and the device started to create the simulation.
