The following week

Things were pretty normal throughout the week. John was at school, I was at work. But with every day that passed, I felt excitement build in me. I had Friday off, so Thursday evening I would take three basics, and be Camren all weekend.

When I got home from work on Thursday I was so excited, but somehow I tried to hide this from John. I mean, we didn’t really talk about this as Chris and John. This was Carmen and John's territory. Luckily, John took the initiative during dinner. “SO I got the pills,” he said a little louder than he probably meant to. “Oh great” I answered. A little faster and more enthusiastically than I meant to. “It’s just…” he continued. “Well, you know that I like the whole breeding pregnant thing right, and it’s just… well there is this new version of basics out now called bump”. I was caught so off guard, and while he explained about the new pill, it took me a minute to understand that he wasn’t actually suggesting that he should impregnate me.

The new bump pill was a three-day simulated pregnancy experience. You took a pill and over the next three days, your body would look more and more pregnant. Your womb would fill with fluids like it normally would, and your body would be flush with pregnancy hormones. Then on the third day, you would have slight cramps and contractions, as the water broke, and eventually, you turned back.

“So, I was wondering if, you might want to try that one since it is three days and you were gonna be Carmen all weekend anyways and well you know…” He was fumbling now and looking flush as a tomato. “Yeah, I can try that,” I said cutting him off a little. I was having very mixed feelings but just really wanted to get on with the pills. He got out the pills. Three basics, and one new bump variety. “I'll be right back then,” I said taking the pills with me to the bathroom.
